The Property is located in Thornton village in West Yorkshire, approximately 4 miles to the west of Bradford City Centre and train station, as well as 12 miles south west of Leeds Bradford Airport. Thornton is a desirable place to live with good commuting links to Bradford and Leeds to the east, as well as easy access to Bronte Country to the west. It has a good range of pubs, shops and amenities as well as Primary Schools and a Secondary School. Thornton Primary School to the south of the Site was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in January 2020. Thornton has many cultural interests including part of the 44 mile long ‘Bronte Way’ which is a walking and cycling route named in reference to the Bronte family who were born in the village. Also dissecting Thornton is the Great Northern Railway Trail which incorporates the striking Thornton Viaduct, a disused railway line. There is also a thriving art scene in the village with the South Square Centre home to artists’ studios, as well as a gallery, community spaces, bar and café. Bradford Interchange Train Station is located within the City Centre and offers direct links to London (circa 3hr 15), Leeds (circa 20 minutes) and Manchester (circa 1hr). The M62 is approximately 30 miles to the south, which provides connections to Manchester, Leeds, Wakefield, Liverpool and Hull.
