Guy Robinson is responsible for the residential business acting as custodian of the 130-year-old Strutt & Parker brand and ensuring it evolves whilst remaining trusted and respected by clients into the next generation.
His estate agency career spans 30 years. Working with a client on their single most expensive asset, on a transaction that takes many months, requires building a good relationship and trust, and as a result, Guy has worked with some clients for 20 years.
Prior to COVID, he restructured the residential business putting it in a good position to adapt to different market conditions. The result was an increased market share as the market emerged from COVID.
Guy has developed a meaningful link with the BNP Paribas Group’s Ultra High Net Worth Individuals and this is now a service we are able to offer for their Estate Strategy in the UK.
Guy initially started his career teaching at an agricultural college. He still takes a keen interest in learning and development, particularly working with younger team members to support their careers and help open doors.
He’s set up internal training programmes to help empower the next generation and introduced a staff forum to get the best out of teams and ensure that they get the best from the business.
Diversity remains a key focus for Guy, and whilst there is work still to be done, he is proud that his Board reflects a good gender mix.
