100 Wood Street gets stamp of approval with Post Office move

14th September 2023, London - BNP Paribas Real Estate have advised The Post Office on its successful acquisition of 17,495 sq ft of office space at 100 Wood Street in London’s City from Pontegadea Real Estate.

The Post Office have taken a lease for the 3rd floor within the 148,000 sq ft+ Grade A mixed-use building (EC2V). 37,932 sq ft of vacant space remains across 4 floors.

A spokesperson for The Post Office commented: “Our ambition for this move was to secure office space that met the shifting workplace needs of our staff and save costs. We underwent an extensive consultation process to achieve this, looking at aspects such as daily requirements, utilisation figures, amenities, and location, which resulted in this mixed offering.

"This allows us the scale to fit-out multifunctional space that can be adapted with ease, with the additional flex desk space at City Tower.

"It’s great to be extending our commitment to London’s City, which has been our base for over 11 years.”
