BNP Paribas Real Estate has promoted Richard Stevens to Head of London Lease Advisory, reinforcing the firm’s continued investment in senior leadership across its professional services business.
Richard brings more than 20 years of experience advising clients on commercial property matters, with deep expertise across rent reviews, lease renewals, re-gearing and surrenders. He specialises in Business Space, with particular focus on Industrial & Logistics assets and London and the South East office markets.
He has built a strong reputation for resolving complex lease advisory disputes, including acting as Expert Witness in dispute resolution procedures and lease renewals.
In his new role, he will continue to work alongside Lead Advisory Head, Leighton Thomas, to help shape the direction and strategy of the London team, while continuing to lead and strengthen the firm’s London Business Space Lease Advisory offering.

Richard’s promotion follows Liz Cain being appointed as Head as Birmingham, and Sam Vyas joining as Senior Director within its national Industrial & Logistics Agency team, demonstrating BNP Paribas Real Estate’s continued drive to connect clients with opportunities and sustainable property solutions through expert advice, insight, and financial acumen, supporting them to create long term outperformance and value in a changing world.
