Why we launched Real Estate Markets 360 Signals

Why we launched Real Estate Markets 360 Signals

Over the past few years, the volume of market insight available to clients has grown exponentially - forecasts, opinion pieces, webinars, reports, white papers. Yet despite more information than ever, decision-making has arguably become harder, not easier. Markets are moving at different speeds, sentiment is fragmenting, and traditional narratives no longer apply consistently across sectors.

That’s the thinking behind Real Estate Markets 360 Signals.

This new podcast series represents a deliberate evolution in how we share insight at BNP Paribas Real Estate and Strutt & Parker. It’s not about producing more content. It’s about focusing on the signals that genuinely matter - the early shifts in pricing, behaviour and sentiment that tell us where markets are heading, often before the data fully shows it.

From forecasts to signals

Our research has always been grounded in evidence, but markets today demand a slightly different lens. Instead of asking “what will happen next?”, we’re increasingly asking:

  • What’s already moving beneath the surface?
  • Where is momentum quietly building?
  • And just as importantly, where is it stalling?

Real Estate Markets 360 Signals is designed around that mindset. Each episode brings together one of our sector specialists for a focused, five-minute discussion - short enough to stay sharp, but long enough to go beyond headlines. The aim isn’t to provide definitive forecasts, but to offer direction: insight that helps clients interpret uncertainty with more confidence.

A more conversational approach to insight

The format itself matters. Replacing our previous Real Estate Markets 360 webinar, the podcast reflects a broader shift towards more engaging, conversational thought leadership.

Episodes run for under an hour and move quickly across multiple sectors - from offices and industrial to living and residential sectors, capital markets and rural land. Each discussion is framed around what’s changing now, not what’s already well understood.

Importantly, this is still research-led. The launch episode draws directly on our Q4 2025 Market Insights, covering everything from a stabilising economic backdrop and improving financing conditions, to tightening Grade A supply, resilient living sector fundamentals and continued strength in agricultural land values. The difference is how that insight is shared - clearer, faster, and without unnecessary jargon.

Building continuity across markets

As the series develops through 2026, Real Estate Markets 360 Signals will evolve through a number of distinct formats. Some episodes will focus on concise sector updates i.e. “5 Minutes On” a specific market. Others will step back and apply a research lens to broader themes or examine quarterly signals emerging within individual sectors.

Later in the year, episodes will be framed around three ideas we consistently see shaping real estate markets: pricing, polarisation and patience. These themes cut across sectors and geographies, and they’re increasingly central to how we interpret risk and opportunity.

The common thread is continuity not just between episodes, but across markets. Real estate doesn’t move in silos, and neither should insight.

Insight, made refreshingly clear

Ultimately, Real Estate Markets 360 Signals is about making research work harder for our clients. It’s about translating data into direction, and complexity into clarity, without oversimplifying what are, by nature, nuanced markets.

In a period where certainty is limited but decisions can’t wait, understanding the signals matters more than ever. This series is our way of sharing how we see them.
