Central London Office Market Update Q2 2022

Central London office demand was in line with pre-pandemic levels in Q2.

Demand for best in class accommodation remains strong, with 50.1% of take-up this quarter being for Grade A space, which is resulting in a significant amount of pre-let activity.

Key findings from our Q2 2022 report indicate that:

  • Take-up in Central London totalled 3.24 million sq ft in Q2.
  • Demand is in line with pre-pandemic levels highlighting London’s resilience despite the challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic presented.
  • Supply increased by 2% in Q2 to 19.56 million sq ft.
  • Vacancy in Central London increased marginally from 8.69% to 8.85% at the end of Q2.
