Freddie Biss joins as head of occupier business development

BNP Paribas Real Estate, part of the BNP Paribas Group, a global leader in financial services, today announced that Freddie Biss has been appointed as head of occupier business development.

Freddie has a decade of experience in the London real estate sector, and joins from Devono, where he held the role of associate director for six years, most notably leading its business development team, where he was responsible for generating revenue for its occupier advisory group and in-house design and build company.

His new role will see him work closely with Paul Anglo and Ben Thomson to build and drive the business development function for flexible office solutions, tenant representation, and the wider occupier solutions team. The appointment is part of a wider strategic move from the occupier solutions team to grow its existing client base into new service lines and follows the promotion of Elaine Murphy as head of occupier strategy back in July.

Paul Anglo, head of flexible office solutions at BNP Paribas Real Estate commented: “Freddie’s extensive experience will be invaluable as we expand our service offer and further strengthen our client relationships. His proven track record in driving growth and leading a dynamic team aligns perfectly with our long-term strategic goals.”

Freddie Biss, head of occupier business development at BNP Paribas Real Estate added: “It’s a pivotal time to be joining the occupier solutions team. I look forward to leveraging my experience to drive growth and deliver exceptional value to our clients.”

Freddie’s appointment follows Tony Lockwood’s appointment as director within its development team, demonstrating BNP Paribas Real Estate’s continued drive to connect clients with opportunities and sustainable property solutions through expert advice, insight, and financial acumen, supporting them to create long term outperformance and value in a changing world.
