As part of our broader Property Management service offering to Knight Frank Investment Management, the Property Management Consultancy team were engaged to manage and improve the reporting and outcome of their GRESB Assessments, which captures information on ESG performance and sustainability best practices globally. 

The Challenge 

With a mix of industrial, retail, warehouse and office space, GRESB Assessments for this real estate fund required a concerted strategy and execution to collect ESG performance data across 56 properties. 

Our Approach 

The team contacted over 250 people across the 176 occupiers within the fund properties. This resulted in 45 interviews and the successful collection of data for approximately 40% of occupiers. 

Successful Outcome 

Due to the targeted communication with occupiers, the fund portfolio achieved a significant uplift of data coverage which resulted in a 13% increase in GRESB scoring and an improved year-on-year star rating to 3-stars.
