An exciting opportunity for an experienced Director to join our successful Estate and Farm Agency team in Lewes. The team specialises in selling and purchasing farmland in the region. This opportunity would suit a self-starting, highly motivated, individual seeking a career challenging opportunity.
Responsibilities
â¢Achieve personal financial targets and budget, maximise gross profit
â¢Ensure delivery of timely and high quality advice and transactions to clients
â¢Meet with clients and assess their particular needs
â¢Manage the team and ensure set objectives are set and met
â¢Register and manage applicants
â¢Conduct market appraisals
â¢Arrange and attend viewings around homes
â¢Canvass for new business opportunities
â¢Explain building issues and regulations to the clients
â¢Respond to queries via e-mail and telephone
â¢Liaise with solicitors
â¢Close deals
â¢Responsible (sometimes jointly) for successful delivery of all assignments in area of expertise
â¢High profile ambassador for Strutt and Parker / BNP Paribas Real Estate in area of expertise
â¢Has external recognition and is influential in the market
â¢Undertake business planning activities in line with the companyâs aims
â¢Bill regularly and collect fees as quickly as possible
â¢Accurately forecast fees for the office when required to do so
â¢Assist in developing initiatives to improve revenue and profitability
â¢An understanding of confidentiality issues and the use of discretion
Person specification
Qualifications:
â¢Educated to GCSE level or equivalent as a minimum
â¢Must hold a full, valid driving licence
Experience
â¢Excellent telephone manner and client facing skills
â¢Significant track record within the local residential sector with a broad cross section of clients
â¢Proven fee earner
â¢Self starter and can work with little supervision and, where appropriate, under pressure
â¢Demonstrate a knowledge of the market which you operate within
