The role

Working for the Head of Sourcing you will be responsible for the delivering sourcing / tendering best practice across all FM categories and indirect categories as required (IT, Professional Services, HR and Marketing). 

The role will require significant engagement with the business stakeholders to coach and support the teams in the delivery of sourcing best practice, and Supplier Relationship Management. 

The role will be based in London but will be required to travel to Birmingham approximately once or twice a month.


Responsibilities

Part of the Sourcing team’s responsibility is to support the Supplier Risk Management team obtain all the required documentation from suppliers, and ensure that the master supplier database is accurate and reflects the current contract status with a supplier. 

The sourcing team will need to lend a hand to the Supplier Risk team when there is a high demand for supplier on boarding or award of new business.


Person specification

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Category management experience in FM and ideally experience in broader indirects (IT, Professional Services, HR and Marketing).
  • Change management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Supplier relationship management and negotiation.
  • Sourcing tools (ideally proactics) and supporting user adoption.
  • Commercial and contract awareness.
