South East office take-up for Q1 2019 totaled 504,914 sq ft, a 20% decline on Q1 2018.
  • However, whilst occupier activity has slowed, the South East market is well placed to withstand a slower pace of demand, with vacancy at low levels in comparison to history.
  • Investment activity also fell back, totalling £375m over Q1 2019, with volumes impacted by stalled decision-making and a relative lack of product on the market.
