Bristol Office Market - March 2017

2016 proved to be another strong year for the Bristol office market

Despite the climate of uncertainty generated both in the run up to and post the UK’s decision to leave the EU, 2016 witnessed a resurgence in letting activity.

Our latest findings include:

-HMRC agreed terms to pre-let the entirety of 3 Glass Wharf, helping to boost the public sector’s share of demand to 21.4% for 2016.

-Strong demand coupled with the continued conversion of secondary stock to alternative uses led to a further reduction in supply over 2016. There is now a particularly pressing shortage of Grade A stock.

-Another strong year for investor activity, with investment volumes up 86% on the five-year average.
