Environmental Policy

Our commitment to the environment

BNP Paribas Real Estate, through the course of its business activities as a leading real estate consultancy, has an impact on the environment. As such it has responsibility to ensure that this impact is minimised, by controlling environmental risks and preventing pollution.

Our environmental policy demands we meet all relevant environmental legal requirements as a minimum and exceed these wherever possible. We are committed to monitoring, managing and continually improving our environmental performance through the retention of an Environmental Management System, certified to ISO 14001:2004, which includes the delivery of our environmental objectives with supporting targets, which are set annually.

Our environmental performance is monitored by an Environmental Committee, including members of the senior management team and meets on a regular basis.

Some of our more recent environmental initiatives include:

  • Enhanced video-conferencing / tele-presence facilities to help reduce travel;
  • Addition of new energy-efficient and on-demand printers, also allowing for reduction in paper usage;
  • Reduction in plant operating hours for our main office;
  • The inclusion of sustainability principles in our procurement process.

A key differentiator for us is the strong governance influence of the BNP Paribas Group.

With a presence in 36 countries, BNP Paribas Real Estate has a global reach, offering our clients in Asia, Middle East and North America unparalleled European expertise.
