BNP Paribas Personal Finance HQ move secured

BNP Paribas Real Estate today announced that it has advised BNP Paribas Personal Finance on the opening on its new headquarters for its UK subsidiary in the centre of Solihull early next year.

Personal Finance will move into 25,000-square-foot premises at the Air Building from January 2025, following a considerable period of growth. The move will also allow the firm to advance its ESG commitments, with the circa 70,000-square-foot offices rated EPC B.

Simon Robinson, Head of Birmingham at BNP Paribas Real Estate commented: "We have previously assisted Personal Finance in re-gearing their lease on their old property and developed a good relationship with the Solihull based team.

"When a decision to move was taken Personal Finance turned to us to advise on available options, ultimately culminating in our team negotiating terms for them to take space in AIR.

"This is a perfect example of the different entities across the BNP Paribas Group working together, the relationship between the Bank and Real Estate and the cross-selling opportunities available."

Stephen Hunt, chief executive officer at BNP Paribas Personal Finance UK commented: "To maintain our position as a leading provider of consumer finance in what is a very dynamic and competitive market, we need to keep delivering easy to use, digitally and data driven finance solutions that our customers can trust, and I believe the environment we build is key to helping us do this.

"Not only will this space help us to continue to contribute to the local economy; it will also ensure that BNP Paribas Personal Finance UK has a modern, flexible, and efficient working environment that will support our colleagues, particularly as we adopt a more agile way of working."
