Blue Light Valuations

Our Valuation team has been the retained valuer for several Police and Fire & Rescue Authorities over the past decade.

With a wealth of experience in dealing with both Authorities and Auditors, our specialist team have provided expert valuations and advice, enabling our clients to make strategic decisions in the management of their portfolios.  

Over the past ten years, we have provided valuation advice to Wiltshire Police, Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Authority, Gloucestershire Police and Berkshire Fire & Rescue. Our work has included the valuation of specialist and non-specialist assets for accounts in line with the International Financial Reporting Standards and valuations for strategic management purposes, assessing Market Value and Alternative Use Values.   

Our knowledge and cross-sector experience enables us to deal with large, complex property portfolios of specialist and non-specialist assets, with management and organisation key to helping us deliver expert advice to our clients.

By providing high quality and timely advice, we enabled our client to meet the requirements of the authority’s auditors in the accounts sign off process and our valuation advice assisted in the strategic management of their portfolios.

Following on from our provision of valuations for strategic purposes, the Planning team undertook site assessments and the Residential Consulting team were instructed to sell a number of assets.
