- UK industrial & logistics take-up reached 49.2m sq ft in 2020, smashing the previous annual record of 34.0m sq ft set in 2016. 14.1m sq ft was leased in Q4, up 138% YoY
- Supply of existing units stood at 33.8m sq ft at the end of 2020, marginally above the amount of space available at the start of the year (+0.6%). However this doesn't tell the whole story...
- Industrial and logistics volumes totalled £4.1bn in Q4, up 52% on Q4 2019 and the busiest final quarter for the sector on record. This brings full-year 2020 volumes to £8.5bn, up 11% YoY and 39% above the previous 10-year average
