Warehouse design, location and property issues - February 2011
Report in conjunction with Gazeley and The UK Logistics Fund into the warehouse of the future, examining design, sustainability, location and property issues from the perspective of agents, developers and investors.- The aim of the research has been to track the opinions of the end users of logistics property in the UK. Key logistics professionals from major retailers, manufacturers along with logistics companies took the oppportunity to complete a survey which make up this warehouse survey.
- Sustainability factors are examined along with physical attributes of the building. Warehouse location in relation to good road or rail links, ports or airports are considered. The core logistics regions of the UK will maintain their importance but periheral regions will find it hard to compete on property issues alone.
