Luxury Retail - H2 2011

The luxury retail market is set to grow considerably - August 2011
The luxury retail market is set to grow considerably in the next few years, but what drives luxury consumption, and where are we likely to see rental growth in London?- The luxury retailers are looking beyond the traditional core of Old Bond Street/New Bond Street.
- Mount Street and South Molton Street has also succeeded in attracting a higher end mix.
- Further east, brands have shown interest in Shoreditch, as well as Covent Garden.
- This geographical expansion beyond the core area is having a positive impact on Zone A rents.
