House prices fall a little in Q3 2010
Since the spring the housing market has been essentially flat. Although London continues to recover, some regions have fallen back more, notably in the North and in Scotland.- House prices fell a little in the third quarter of this year, having staged a strong recovery from the spring of 2009.
- Since the spring the market has been essentially flat, London continues to recover but some regions have fallen back more.
- We should not look for any return to fast growth in the US, the UK or any other OECD countries.
- The current flatness in the housing market partly reflects the uncertainty in the UK as people contemplate the prospect of large public sector cuts.
