BNP Paribas Real Estate appoints planning expert
BNP Paribas Real Estate has appointed Kiran Williams, BA (Hons) PgDip MRTPI, as a Senior Planning Consultant at the firm’s Birmingham office.
Kiran is a Chartered Town Planner with over 10 years’ experience gained within the public and private sectors. She graduated from Coventry University in 2001 with a degree in Urban and Regional Planning and was later awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Town Planning, from Coventry University. Kiran was elected as a corporate member of the Royal Town Planning Institute in April 2005. She has previously worked at Marconi APT, DPP, CgMs and Planning Aid West Midlands. Her clients have included: Tesco Stores Limited, Barratt Homes, David Wilson Homes, Commercial Estates Group and Café Nero.
Kiran joins BNP Paribas Real Estate from Wolverhampton City Council where she worked as a Planning Officer, dealing with a range of commercial and residential developments and providing detailed advice during the pre-application stage.
BNP Paribas Real Estate’s Head of Planning in Birmingham, Charles Robinson, says: “Kiran brings a wide range of experience in the fields of telecommunications, retail, residential and development, where she will assist in the expansion of our proactive approach to planning and development advice. She also has experience in the public sector and community engagement which will be essential in promoting development in the context of “localism” and the new National Planning Policy Framework.
