The
successful management and implementation of the planned maintenance works
meant that there were zero dilapidations for the client.
It also meant that the Property Management team were able to negotiate an
early surrender of the building
Challenges
The end
of Willis’ lease was approaching and they needed advice on how to exit the
property as economically as possible.
It was important that they managed the relationships between the sub
tenants, who were keen to minimise costs in a difficult financial
environment, and the freeholder, who was interested in maximising their claim
to fund improvement works.
