Results
•
Significant value generated by the new land uses created by the scheme
• The project enabled Associated British Ports to capitalise on an under
utilised asset
• It was a successful part of Associated British Ports’ overall asset
rationalisation strategy
Challenges
In order for the project to be viable Associated British Ports had to raise the perception of a relatively run down area, and convince end users of the opportunity. Advice was also needed on the creation of a completely new land use and development strategy for the joint initiative that the client had formed with the Welsh Government to progress the project.
